The Choral Project presents a program of unaccompanied choral music by three of this century’s most influential composers: Arvo Pärt, John Tavener, and Eric Whitacre. The program will include favorites such as Whitacre’s Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine and When David Heard that Absolom was Slain, Pärt’s Magnificat, and Tavener’s Butterfly Dreams, a multi-movement work set to seven poems about butterflies. The sublime sounds of this concert promise to be one of The Choral Project’s finest performances ever. Come hear The Choral Project sing what it does best.
