Ring in the holidays with The Choral Project and San José Chamber Orchestra in a concert that celebrates the wonder and joy of the winter season. Inspired by Celtic music, highlights include the powerful "Threnody" by Tarik O'Regan, "Pacem: Find Love" from Ben Allaway's monumental Heaven & Earth: A Celtic Mass, Michael Touchi's Celtic arrangement of the classic Hanukkah song "Mi Yimalel," and an excerpt from Charles B. Griffin's "Weaving Olden Dances." Also featured in the program are holiday favorites like "Greensleeves" and "Silent Night," featuring Todd Denman on the uilleann pipes.
