  • Spotlight on an Artist

    ERICWHITACRE

An accomplished composer and conductor, Eric Whitacre has quickly become one of the most popular and performed composers of his generation. Many of Whitacre's works have become choral standards and have become the subject of several recent scholarly works and doctoral dissertations.

In 2003, The Choral Project recorded seven stunning pieces by Whitacre for their Water & Light CD. Included in this CD are Five Hebrew Love Songs, Cloudburst, I thank You God for most this amazing day, She Weeps Over Rahoon, Little Birds, Water Night and Sleep.

"Difficult, intricate harmonies, effortlessly performed by this talented ensemble." -Primarily A Cappella
